Tezave – A real zadik, a righteous person cares….

We learn in our Parsha (Shemot 28,29):

"Aaron shall carry the names of the sons of Israel on the breastpiece of decision over his heart, when he enters the sanctuary, for remembrance before G'd at all times."

A Rov, a leader has to always carry (the names of) Bnei Yisroel – on his heart !

The story is told of the student who learned in Ponevezh Yeshiva, who's little son was taken ill and needed urgent surgery in Tel Aviv hospital. The student went to the Ponevezh Rov and asked for a Brocho, for his blessing.
Next day, the operation went well and the little child was recovering – the student went over to tell the Rov good news.
He found the Rov sitting in his room with  Tehillim, the Book of Psalms, red  eyed – he was crying in Tefillah for the little son of one of his many students.

A real Rov (indeed – any real friend) has his friends/students – on his heart always.

Shabbat Shalom and best wishes
